Where are you based?

Namaqua Diamonds & Gems is based in South Africa. While we don't have a retail showroom, we work with clients across the country through virtual consultations, WhatsApp and local appointments by arrangement.

Do you have a physical jewellery store?

No. We offer a personalised jewellery experience through virtual consultations, WhatsApp and local in-person appointments by arrangement. This allows us to give every client dedicated attention throughout their jewellery journey.

What is a Story Consultation?

Our Story Consultation is a personalised experience where we get to know you, your style and the occasion you're celebrating before discussing diamonds, gemstones or designs. Whether you're creating an engagement ring, anniversary gift or redesigning a treasured heirloom, we'll guide you through every step.

How do consultations take place?

Is there any obligation to purchase?

The process

How does the custom jewellery process work?

Our custom jewellery journey includes:

Choosing your diamond or gemstone
CAD design creation
Your approval before production
Manufacturing
Quality inspection
Collection or secure delivery

Will I see the design before it's made?

Yes. Every custom piece is created in CAD (Computer-Aided Design), allowing you to review and approve the design before production begins.

Can changes be made to my design?

Absolutely. We want you to love every detail. We'll work together to refine your design before it's approved for production.

Can you redesign existing jewellery?

Yes. We can transform existing jewellery into something new while preserving the sentimental value of your original piece where possible.

Can I use my own gold or gemstones?

In many cases, yes. We'll first assess your jewellery or gemstones to determine whether they're suitable for your new design.
